Next to Normal is a story about a family trying to cope with the impact of trauma and loss on their day-to-day lives and their hopes for the future. Their individual challenges are inextricably intertwined with their collective struggle as a family. By harnessing the emotional power of contemporary music and song, Next to Normal takes the audience on a journey through the highs and lows of dysfunctional relationships, mental health treatment, grief, frustration, transition, healing, and light.
The Ridgefield Theater Barn is committed to doing their part to amplify the conversation around mental health in our community. We are pleased to be hosting a talkback after the Sunday, June 11 matinée with Michael Groat, PhD, Chief Clinical Officer of Silver Hill Hospital.
