The RTBK Summer Workshops are two-week musical theater workshops that include both scenes and songs from various shows, including both classic and contemporary musicals. Throughout the workshops we focus on understanding character, working as an ensemble, blending of voices, comedic timing, and choreography.
Each two-week workshop culminates in a performance for family and friends. Putting it all together in two weeks is hard work, but the process is always rewarding and fun!
Sessions consist of either working on a small group scene, a small group song, or the full cast numbers. Roles are given out by a willingness to try, be bold, and take risks, but even the shyest of students are given opportunities for lines and small solos in musical numbers.
