A successful professional couple is doing its best to raise two teenage daughters. Their efforts are challenged by a shady ex-boyfriend, whose intrusive and forbidding presence is a constant threat. When one of the girls becomes pregnant, the boyfriend's parents become involved. The differing opinions on how to resolve the problem create tension, humor, and dissension that threaten to destroy the girl's family.
Seeking 1 woman and 2 men; the subject of the play is teenage pregnancy and the participants will be reading the parts of the three adults (the parents of three teenagers) from scripts supplied to them on music stands. No memorizing of the scripts will be required.
In advance of the stage reading, there will be one or two read-throughs with the director and a final on-stage rehearsal.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and no experience is necessary.
For queries or further information, please send an e-mail to the director at email@example.com.
