Open auditions for Word Around Town 5: An Evening of Original Poetry will be held at the Ridgefield Theater Barn on Tuesday, April 30th from 6:30-8:30pm.. 

The event will be held Tuesday evening, June 11th at 7:30 pm. Rehearsals will be determined by the performers and the directors.     

Come prepared to perform 4-5 pieces; additional pieces may also be submitted for consideration.  Memorization is preferred but not required.  All poems (up to 10) should be typed, one poem per page.  Preference will be given to free-form poetry and pieces without heavily rhymed line endings.  Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move well.  Poems must be your own original work; not interested in Poe, Keats, or Dickinson, etc. Previously published work is allowed.
