Show Background:
In this funny and poignant play, three sisters return home to Yorkshire, England after the death of their mother. They struggle with who remembers which events, only to find that individual memories of their experiences have become fuzzy, and family stories, many times re-told, become fair game for an alternate reality that transcends the memory. Yet the age old tradition of recollecting these stories—bound by love, laughter, anger and tears—is the center of this bittersweet, life-affirming comedy.
Winner of the 2000 Olivier (British) Award for Best New Comedy.
